Founded in 1987 as United Foodservice, Grecian Delight Distribution originated as a provider of paper and tableware products to the eating and drinking establishments in the Chicago Loop and surrounding area. During the first decade, the company acquired another distributor — Sula Supply — which expanded it's geographical base and increased its product offerings to include select canned and dry food items.

In 2002, Grecian Delight Distribution became a distributor of the Mediterranean food products produced by Grecian Delight Foods.
To support this alliance, they moved to a newer and larger facility in Elk Grove Village. This greatly increased the freezer and cooler capacity and enabled them to further expand their product base to include other food items such as hot dogs, sausages, french fries, cheeses, soft serve ice cream, and appetizers.

GRECIAN DELIGHT DISTRIBUTION has grown and evolved over the last 2 decades but the company's dedication to providing quality products at competitive prices with on-time delivery has remained the same.
